Caldwell Family:
Life is “good busy” here and I wanted to give you a mid-week update with some more information and reminders of some great opportunities to participate in the life of the church.
In Sunday’s sermon, I mentioned the festival the faculty and parents of the Central Avenue Bilingual Preschool will hold on Wednesday, May 26 to celebrate the school’s expansion to Caldwell. I now have the specifics: The event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., including food, fun and festivities. Our role is to just be there – to make the families feel welcomed at Caldwell and to soak up some of their wonderful culture. If you don’t speak Spanish, don’t worry – a smile and a handshake speak volumes.
Other upcoming events:
This Sunday at 4 pm, Caldwell hosts a gospel music concert to help raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Several Gospel choirs will perform, including ours. Come and have your spirits lifted!
Let us all keep Jill and Troy Aleong in our prayers today and this week. A memorial service for Jill’s mom will be held in Pinehurst this afternoon.
