Dear Caldwell,
Final details are in place for Thursday’s service for Ebony Petty.
Noon: Wake/Visitation: A time to view the body and express support for the family. In the sanctuary. (There will not be a visitation at the funeral home.)
1 p.m.: Memorial service to give thanks for Ebony’s life and find comfort in the promise of the resurrection.
A reception/repast in Fellowship Hall, previously scheduled for about 3 p.m., will now immediately follow the service. The service at the cemetery has now been moved to Friday, time TBD.
PARKING: Because we expect a number of guests and friends of the family, Caldwell members are asked to please remember that there are several alternatives for parking: The back parking lot by Belk Hall can be accessed off Park Drive. On-street parking is available on Travis Ave. and there are spaces available off Travis Ave. in the parking lots toward Elizabeth Ave./Nothing But Noodles.
If you would like to make a financial donation to help the Petty family in their time of grief, you may make a contribution to the Caldwell Benevolence Fund. When making a contribution to this fund, Caldwell will retain full control of the contributions and will determine their best use. As such, your donation will be a tax-deductible contribution. Please make checks to Caldwell Presbyterian Church, with notation for the Benevolence Fund.
Wilma, Sade and Tatyanna pass on their continued gratitude for all of the expressions of support and comfort from the Caldwell family. Tatyanna has been at school this week. We continue to keep them in our prayers.
Please also keep in your prayers Elizabeth Hyland and her mother, Peggy, who is being diagnosed for a possible brain tumor; also, our accountant, Teresa Moore, whose father-in-law’s brain cancer has advanced to a critical condition.
Yours in Christ,
John
