Learning to live the life God calls us to live by understanding the teachings of scripture is central to Christian Education at Caldwell.
Children’s Christian Education
Exploring God’s love is at the heart of the nurturing and creative experience Caldwell offers for children. We offer experiences for every age group, beginning with nursery care for babies and toddlers during the Sunday worship service and continuing through our youth. Drop-ins and visitors are welcome.
Children are welcome to stay for the entire church service. But we also pause after our opening hymns and passing of the peace to invite our children to enjoy their own age-appropriate experience in learning about God. We ask that parents please keep their cell phones on, in vibrate mode, in case we need to communicate with you during the service.
On your first visit: Your children are welcome to join the other children at Caldwell midway through our worship service. When the children leave for their classes, you are invited to come down with them to see where they will be and to make sure our teachers can communicate to you if needed.
All who work with our children are trained and have been through a background check.
Christian Education for Adults
As a church family, Caldwell Presbyterian adults engage in a collaborative effort to think together, talk together and study together in order to become better disciples. By challenging and encouraging each other, Caldwell adults learn new ways to apply Christianity to the realities of life in the 21st Century. Caldwell offers:
- Adult Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. Sundays
- New Member Classes at various times throughout the year
- Congregational Retreat in the fall
- Women’s Retreat every spring
- Justice Forums throughout the year
- Discussion groups throughout the year
