Dear Caldwell Family,
The chicken is fried, the salads made, the biscuits about to be baked and the corn will go on the grill in just a little while. Our Southern Fiesta to welcome the Bilingual Preschool families to our campus kicks off tonight at 6 with dinner and games to follow. This is a great chance to meet the children and their families and to begin to build new relationships. Hope you can make it.
Last Sunday, we heard four ‘sermonettes’ from some remarkable young women. I invited them to respond to some broad generalities that generational experts offer in describing the emerging generations, those in the 20s and 30s. The young women who spoke Sunday, each of them serving this summer as a Davidson-Stapleton intern, blended wisdom and fresh perspective as they described what the Church means to them. I’ve heard many positive comments about the insight and integrity of their comments and I could not agree more strongly.
You can read their ‘sermonettes’ on our website at To Be A New Church, Part III: The Other Side
This was part of he third installment of that series, the one containing the ‘experts’ ‘ observation about the emerging generations, is temporarily not available but we will get it back up on line right away.
Peace be with you,
John
I’m sorry I missed it! Thank you for posting their insightful words!
