Dear Caldwell,
Today we are all getting used to the world without our friend Jimmy Todd, each in our own way. Fred Powers, for example, came to ring the church bell in Jimmy’s honor, knowing how much that bell tower meant to his buddy. God is present to each of us in our remembering.
I wanted you to know that a celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held at Caldwell this Friday at 2 p.m., followed by a reception. A brief obituary will run in the Observer tomorrow with a full obituary to appear in the following days. Harry and Bryant is in charge.
I am sure that we have all been remembering our favorite “Jimmy stories” and we thank God for what he meant to us and to Caldwell. His family is grateful for the church’s support.
